The last few weeks have been an emotional roller coaster.... Our little A had open heart surgery on August 4th. It went very well. She came home on the 6th, that's right a 2 day hospital stay. She did awesome!!!! Mom and Dad not so good. It was so hard to hand to her to that nurse. I was crying and she said what happened momma, no cry it's alright, then I gave her to the nurse and boy did she SCREAM. That did not help momma out at all!!!!! That was the moment I had dreaded since we set the date for the surgery. It went as I had feared.
Surgery started at 8:30am and she was out at 12:30pm. We got back to see her at about 1pm. She look really good, amazing color, not the pale little girl I expected. She slept off and on the rest of the day and night. When she woke up she was really pissed off at me. It took her until the next night to give me any kisses, I got over it pretty fast though. She gave me a big I Love You Bigger Momma and all was well.
Here is a recent photo I took this weekend, hard to believe she had open heart less than 3 weeks ago. Thank you to all for the prayers and well wishes, I truly believe in the power of pray. Praise the Lord!!!!!
